How to run the saves
You'll need a copy of the game. SimCity 2000 Special Edition is still sold on GOG. To play it on a modern computer, we recommend one of these:
- sc2kfix, which patches the Windows version of the game.
- OpenSC2K, an open-source reimplementation.
- City 2026, play in your browser.
Download a save from its city's page and open it from the game's load menu.
